Herb and Barbara Carabeo welcome you to the
Originally built in 1863, it became well-known as Wells Fargo Stage Stop by 1870. Rumors even say in1890 it was a Bordello. The building then became a Railroad Hotel in 1905. Still intact is an 1880 Wells Fargo safe. When the building was constructed the concrete walls were built “around” the safe.

The building was registered in October, 1998 as a “National Historical Site.” The handsome historical plaque is displayed in the bar area.
